The second device of Irradia, the MID LITE model meets all the specifications to be the most efficient device on the market of medical lasers that operates with a rechargeable battery.
A single type of diode laser with two or three outputs is permanently incorporated in the basic unit, in contrast with other devices which operate with battery and have only a single type of diode laser, usually 650-660 nm or 808 nm.
The device can be purchased with some firmly incorporated types of laser such as for GaAs 904nm with three outputs or with two outputs for GaAlAs 808 nm, GaAlInP 660 nm, InGaN 520 nm and InGaN 450 nm.
In general, the MID LITE device is a professional portable medical laser designed and developed to be used in a simple and easy way, either in the clinic or out of it, such when visiting patients at home.
MID-LITE unit has an inbuilt lithium ion battery when not connected to an electric outlet and takes up little space in your bag for easy transport.
FUNCTIONS AND FEATURES
MID-LITE has four control buttons. These are used to control the amount of laser energy that passes into the patient’s body according to what has to been treated and the depth of the patient’s problem, such as a superficial treatment (skin, sores, tendons) or a deeper lying problem (big joints and muscles). Moreover, these buttons adjust the amount of energy per second and per cm2. When the dosage setting is passed into the patient’s body, a beep sounds and the handset has to be moved to the next treatment point, irrespective of which MID LITE model is used.
DIGITAL DISPLAY CONTROL PANEL
The digital display monitor records the laser settings indicating the type or what laser wavelength is used for the treatment, for how long and how many Joules.
PULSED LASER HANDSETS WITH ADJUSTABLE OUTPUT POWER
MID LITE device has various innovations. Another one is that we can adjust the output power of the pulsed laser handsets from lower to higher. This applies to all pulsed laser handsets except superpulsed laser GaAs 904 nm where the output power remains unchanged and time is regulated instead. This function benefits the user who wants to adjust the photonic effect or dosage for a particular treatment.
AUTOMATIC STOP OF LASER HANDSET EMISSION
The device has an automatic stop mechanism of light emission from the handsets that emit for ten minutes. After this time period has elapsed, the light emission pause is followed by a double sound.
DOUBLE OR TREBLE LASER HANDSET
The MID LITE model is constructed with integrated diode laser handsets with two or three outputs, which provide quicker treatments in comparison with similar models of other manufacturers with a single diode laser output.
1 JOULE SETTING
In MID LITE model the dosage of one joule can be adjusted followed by an audible signal. Hence, for each joule delivered to the patient’s body, an audible signal inform us that we need to move the laser handset to the next treatment point.
